The San Cristoforo complex is located in the hinterland of Passignano sul Trasimeno, nestled between the lake and the Cortona hills, includes the buildings of the ancient parish including the deconsecrated church, the bell tower, the rectory, the farmhouse, the former drying room, the agricultural outbuildings and the surrounding land for about 7 hectares, part of which is agricultural land (southern exposure with installation of solar panels) and the remaining wood. In front of the church a well was dug in the 2000s for water supply, while inside the wood owned there is a source, with traces of an old well probably built on a resurgence. The rainwater is channeled into two further tank wells.
Currently the property has, in addition to the deconsecrated church, three large real estate portions:
- Ancient rectory: entrance from the loggia and arranged on two floors;
- Farmhouse: entrance on the first floor from an external staircase, on two floors
- Ground floor: entrance from the facade, occupies the entire ground floor with numerous French windows
The main body has been divided into three real estate units and the rustic annexes have been entirely renovated including the original external wood-burning oven.
The restoration of the interior of the church, which gives the property an exceptional charm, was recently completed with an innovative archaeological restoration project, under the high supervision of the Superintendency of Perugia.
