Immersed in the magical atmosphere of Isola Maggiore, in the ancient fishing village in the heart of Lake Trasimeno, portion of a stone farmhouse overlooking via Guglielmi and with an independent entrance from the characteristic adjacent square.
The property is on two floors: entrance hall, hallway, kitchen, living room and toilet on the first floor, while on the second floor there are three double bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom with tub.
The property is completed by an attic, storage room and utility room with entrance on the ground floor on the square side, as well as a commercial space with entrance from via Guglielmi.
The property can easily be divided into three real estate units: two residential units (two-room apartment with common entrance on the first floor and three-room apartment with independent entrance on the second floor) and a commercial space with independent entrance on Via Guglielmi.
Isola Maggiore is one of the three natural islands of Lake Trasimeno, in Umbria.
It is a fraction of the municipality of Tuoro sul Trasimeno in the province of Perugia. The island has 15 inhabitants and has an area of 24 hectares, enclosed in a perimeter of 2 km. The island is connected to the mainland by a ferry service to the towns of Tuoro sul Trasimeno, Passignano sul Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago. The town is located in the western part of the island, stretching from the pier along the main via Guglielmi. A dense network of paths runs through the entire island, finding a scrub of olive trees, holm oaks, pines, cypresses and other Mediterranean varieties. Although the name is misleading, the island is not the largest of Lake Trasimeno. In fact, in decreasing order of surface area, we first find the Polvese, then the Maggiore and finally the Minore.
